"Nada Yoga, a union through sound"
Yogic tradition considers the whole creation as "Dhvani",
describing the matter as a form of energy as well.
forming a part of universal soul, "Brahman",
Sat-cit-ฤnandaย (truth-consciousness-bliss)
Being a part of Brahman, everything
including water, air, fire etc. have an
intelligence, which allows us a possibility
to communicate with these natural entities,
as described in the Devta Culture of Puranic texts,
by practicing the various forms of Yoga
including the Nada Yoga, a technique used
by the musicians in the ancient times to
bring rain at the command of their music.
Among the five Koshas (layers of our existence)
Pranamaya Kosha, the vital energy body,
comprises of 72000 Nadis and 108 Chakras.
These Chakras are the energy centres,
subdivided into 54 each by ida and pingala,
each having its own bij mantra or sound,
also forming the sounds of Sanskrit alphabets.
These sounds can be heard within us following an
organised system of chants, asanas and mudras.
This Mahashivratri, let's stay awake with our spine erect,
using the vibrations and resonances of Nada Yoga to
awaken our Kundalini enhancing our spiritual experience.
