The hijab row getting more complicated and tangled shows how we as a country have started losing its unity, respect for diversity and are instead focusing on how one faith is superior to another.
Wearing hijab is a constitutional right. An objection shouldn't have been raised related to this at the very first place. And even if it wasn't a constitutional right, denying education because of any reason is unjustified.
India, unfortunately has faced such situations a lot. But this one in particular is scary.
School is a place where young minds take shape, understand, learn, develop mindset. It's were the country grows.
The greater concern here is these minds are getting corrupt in the name of religion, faith and the effects can be widely seen. This needs to be addressed in the right way as soon as possible. The youth energy should be utilised for the country's betterment.
No faith is superior or inferior. All lead to one thing and that's HUMANITY.— % &

A 'No' means No. It doesn't have multiple meanings. Marriage doesn't mean consent. This really needs to be understood. A lot of girls, women face sexual harrasment in the name of marriage.
Consent is important, and so is the need for some men to educate themselves and respect it.

When on video call with the entire family, we don't really care about how we or the others look. What catches the eye is everybody's ear to ear smiles, giggles and the care as we enquire about each other's well being. How all have to talk at once creating a beautiful chaos. And then gradually putting forward the conversation. Maa asking if I had food and warning not to have cold stuffs, Papa saying just go along the heart. Sibling enjoying the sole ownership of the room. Uncle shares the new word he learnt, aunt talking about the new recipe she cooked. One of the cousins sharing how a student was singing, forgetting that the audio wasn't on mute. Grandfather informing about the growth of a sapling and grandmother pulling his leg on how he messed up in the kitchen while helping her.
The echoing laughters, the warmth, the emotions, the tiny drop of tear and the feeling of belonging is so pure. All just lively and raw.
Distance doesn't necessarily push us away. Many a times it brings people even closer making the connection stronger.
