Her Brothers carried her over on the 'PIRI'.It was the time for 'SUBHO DRISTI'.Hiding her face behind the betel leaves,she utterly hoped to see those twinkling eyes which took her breath away everytime she saw them.
Her eyes met with a man.'Husband' - the society said , 'A stranger' - her heart murmured.The 'SAPTAPODI' made her feel suffocated.Was it because of her heavy wedding ensemble? Or the burden of making promises to an unknown person ? She was overwhelmed with surge of agony.
The 'SINDOOR-DAAN' chocked her last flick of hope to death..The 'LOJJABOSTRO' hanged her head.'Diffidence'- they teased, 'Defeat'- She muttered.
She wanted this day to be a different one.Destiny played its role.
She sighed and looked up. She saw the brightest star twinkling at her..She closed her eyes and saw those twinkling eyes once again.

My tombstone will read:

Just whisper my name in your heart and I will be there.

My rainy days are all about spending indoors with a cup of coffee with some pakodas and a good book

OR

wearing cute boots and dancing in the puddles.

For all the times I forgot to "Thank you"
For all the special little things you do
For all the words that go unspoken,
I need to say 'I love you maa....I do'.

I love you for the way you stop and listen.
And for your kind support throughout the years,
For teaching me the meaning of strength,
And sharing in my triumph and my tears.

And,if at times, I may have seemed ungrateful,

They can be stumbling rocks or stepping stones.
