When you're, almost all the times, to make the first phone call, to text someone first, to enquire about how's their life going, after a certain point it becomes mentally exhausting. I know that if I want it to be going then I should put the efforts, but can't I expect the same from the other person? Let's assume they are occupied with work, engaged in something else, couldn't make time for us, but let's be honest, how much time it takes to put out a simple "Hey, how have you been"?
Ik people who say, that person texted me now and it's great 'cause we hadn't talked in like weeks or months. But, why couldn't you be the one to do it yourself? Why is that everytime the other person should be the conversation beginner?-
