Sometimes late at night, when darkness is all I can see,
it's home that I miss terribly.

it's not just the four walls that call out to me,

Those untrodden lanes and breaking dawns,
Cataloging words for that moiety verse,

just like that.

I want him to look at me again the way he did before.
I want him to listen to all my bluffs like he did before.
I want him to stroke his hand on my hairs like he did before.
I want him to hug and console me everytime I had a bad day, like he did before.
But then I remember those endless days of crying and those sleepless nights,
And thus end up trying harder to forget everything and move on!

Shining beneath those dark clouds,
The moon whispered thousand stories of struggles and successes.
Silently convincing us to stay put,as these dark times too shall sail away someday,
Bringing back those sunny days and wishful laughters at bay.
