न जाने किसकी कमी मुझे खाई है।
शायद ये मेरी अधूरी तमन्नाओं की परछईं है।
लगता है किसी को पाने की जिद्द मुझे सताई है।

आज बहुत तन्हाई है।
फिर उसकी याद आई है।
जिसकी मौजूदगी मे भी गैरहाजरी छाई है
उसको अपना बनाने की चाहत मुझे लाहाई है।

आज बहुत तन्हाई है।
बहुत सी बाते दिल में छिपाई है।
पर मेरी खामोशी ने भी उसकी बाते बताई है।
एक तरफा प्यार की भी बहुत गहराई है।
