हर देश अपने अतीत जैसा बनना चाहता है। तुर्की अपने पुराने ऑटोमन साम्राज्य (खलीफा) जैसा बनना चाहता है, चीन अपने टैंग साम्राज्य जैसा बनना चाहता है, रूस सोवियत संघ जैसा बनना चाहता है, भारत अखंड भारत बनना चाहता है, अमेरिका पुराना वाला (जॉर्ज वॉशिंगटन) अमेरिका बनना चाहता है।

एक बार संभव नाम के आदमी का mobile खराब हो जाता है। वह उसे ठीक करवाने के लिए दुकान पर लेके जाता है लेकिन वह ठीक नहीं हो पाता। वह अपने दोस्त अजित के mobile से अपने भाई अभिनंदन को call करता है।
अभिनंदन :– जय जिनेन्द्र, कौन बोल रहा है?
संभव :– जय जिनेन्द्र भाई, मैं बोल रहा हूं।
अभिनंदन :– भाई तू बोल रहा है, लेकिन किसके mobile से call किया है तूने?
संभव :– भाई ये मेरे दोस्त अजित का mobile है जिससे मैने तुझे call किया है।
अभिनंदन :– भाई तूने अपने मोबाइल से call क्यों नहीं किया?
संभव :– भाई, मेरा mobile को अभी थोड़ी देर पहले heart attack आया, मैं उसे doctor के पास लेके गया लेकिन उन्होंने बताया कि इस mobile ने दम तोड़ दिया है। अब यह ज़िंदा नहीं हो सकता। इसलिए इसका अंतिम संस्कार करने के लिए निगम बोध घाट शमशान book करना है। भाई अब हमारे पातक लग गए।
अभिनंदन (रोता हुआ) :– हमारा प्यारा mobile अब हमारे बीच नहीं रहा। भगवान महावीर इसकी आत्मा को शांति देना।
संभव :– भाई रोने से कुछ नहीं होगा, बस भगवान से प्रार्थना कर कि ये भूत–प्रेत बनकर ना भटके, और इसकी आत्मा शांत हो जाए।

A man asked his wife to give him ₹100. The wife was clever. She gave 10,000 coins of 1 paise instead of a note of 100 rupees. When the man asked her the reason, she explained , "1 rupee = 100 paise,
100 rupees = 100 X100 = 10,000 paise". The man told her that today paise don't exist. Only rupees exist, but she told him that she possess only paise. He fell on the ground and fainted. When he regained his consciousness, he admitted her to a mental asylum.
