Shatter too easily,
and fragility defines you.
Struggle to gather
your broken pieces,
and weakness follows.-
Good enough?
Even time was preached
To never settle for less
Quite before it reached
At that place to confess.
And so, soon it ceased
And started to assess
But how fair will you call
It to never settle for more?
Should it bother when you fall
To doze and let sanity restore
And drive you to stand tall
And settle for equal, nothing to deplore?
-
It’s cold outside,
and I can’t help but dwell
on forgotten emotions—
the ones that once made us whole.
the frozen snow lies still,
yearning for a touch of color,
while desolate trees stand silent,
their hope for green fading.
the biting wind steals away
the remnants of warmth and love,
leaving you adrift, longing for more.
short days and endless nights
whisper away the memory of light.
yet, amidst the stillness,
there’s a quiet grace—
a peaceful rhythm to this slow, gentle season.-
Life be busy giving us
lessons on how to live,
forgetting that we don't have
multiple lives to live.-
Ordinary hearts bring someone into their days,
And when left behind, they find new ways.
But poets make someone their very life,
Their soul, their world, in joy and strife.
So when abandoned, a poet’s life must end,
Shattered, with nothing left to mend.
But from the ruin, they are reborn
A new existence, from a heart once torn.-
Just as rain, once graces the earth,
mingles with impurities and
loses its pristine clarity,
so too do emotions, when spoken,
become tainted by the words' influence.-
the pure rain never falls
just like true & pure emotions
are never expressed.-
You are actually trying to express
your thoughts in writing when
words feel like a limitation,
and not like a liberty.-
