मैं शुरुआत ले कर आई हूं
छोटे सही कदम तो बढ़ाओ

इमारतों के परदों से
कागज़ की बेरंग परतों से
कुछ बातें कहनी सुननी हैं
उनमें थोड़े रंग भर लूं
मैं कभी कहीं खुद से मिल लूं

दो क्षण रुको आती हूं
पेड़ों की टहनियों से थोड़ी छांव मांगी है
क्षण क्षण उष्म अभिवादन नहीं
मैंने शीतल पड़ाव मांगी है
कोमल किसलय से कान्ति
अन्तरिक्ष सी हृदय में शान्ति
बयार से हिलते पत्तों से
मैंने थोड़ी ठहराव मांगी है
तुम तो आगे बढ़ रही हो
काल के प्रत्येक अंतराल पर
सहज ही तर रही हो
अभी तो मैंने हैं पर्वत मोड़ने
कई सारे भ्रम है तोड़ने
कितनी ही स्मृतियों की
मैंने गांठें बांधनी है
कितनी ही मुस्कुराहटों से
मैंने खुशियां नापनी हैं
तब कहीं तुमसे मिलूंगी

I may be still in love
the doubt is unprecedented
earlier I was so sure
the pain felt so pure
alongwith the moments
of rendezvous and waits
My heart was messy and thronged
until it was cleaned one day
dried autumn leaves swept away
although it feels alive sometimes
when you walk through the door
It can listen to the chimes

Today is not only the day to
take stock of accomplishments
But to renew the commitments
to take care of yourself
take care and uplift other women
to invest on health, education
to invest in a girl's passion
to make her bright
to teach her to fight

and nights unlimited
We're a full moon away
In between stars unlimited
We take a leap
but only to retreat
Waters are clear

जीवन यह कब सहज था
कब यह कोई मृदु जलज था
मैं नहीं थी
तुम नहीं थे
वह भी तपा था
जो यहां कुलज था
कोई आक्षेप न रखना तुम
हम दूर हुए तो क्या
हृदय समीप रखना तुम
यह अनुभव मात्र पर्याप्त है
अन्तर में यह व्याप्त है
यह अगाध भी है संक्षिप्त भी
बंधन भी है निर्लिप्त भी
तुम कोई लक्ष्य रखना नहीं
मार्ग ही यहां इष्ट है
हर पग संग मेरे चलना यूंही
हम सफल होते रहेंगे
अनुराग में जीते रहेंगे
