The winter sky so gloomy, dark and veiled
What profit can an evening stroll yield?
The warmth of that frozen light
When the clouds have already covered the night

In a cozy corner I lay down,
without caring about the falling town.
i lay down like an emaciated sloth,
Wrapped in a blanket or fleeced cloth.
— % &I feel tranquil and comfortable
But my thoughts make me uncomfortable
The world has converted into a bedlam, I think
I deviate my mind but the hatred makes me rethink

Rethink about all the wars and hostility,
Bemoaning about mankind's fragility.
Taking away lives of one another,
Neither thinking about their children nor mother.

— % &This war can be stopped by love and gratitude
But who cares when all they think about is solitude.
Their grounds are nothing but a mesh of mystery
And all they care about is their welfare and victory. — % &

Every falling leaf to embellish
and enhance my dull aura.
I see hope in every minute
snowflake to be quirky in
its own way.
I see hope in every frail
blossom to be fragrant
enough even if it doesn't
bloom.

After a long, disoriented day, the happiest moments
seem to be out of place. At home, you see her worn
out face, things start to fall into place.

Is it not sad enough that we are just a single
breath away from our ends?
Why does this life has to tie a rope of despair
around our necks and make it worse?
