पर सन्नाटे के आगे कोई
आवाज़ ही नहीं पहुँची।

मोहब्बत इतनी की कचड़े में फेका गया ख़त सहेज कर रख ले और नफ़रत ऐसी की अपने आंसु तक देखने का मौका तुम्हे ना दे।

So many times that you will stop counting.
And no, when I say that I do not mean it will break in love.
It will break every time you put your faith in someone who does not deserve that and in something that was not worth chasing.
Cry, when that happens and
arise. Stronger. Brighter.

when it rained,
lesser while it was cloudy.
But once the storm passed,
the rains made sense and
the clouds smiled as if
they were the only shield
available in time.

I wonder if people can replace coffee then I look at you and I am assured that coffee can surely replace people.

सुनो,
मुस्कुरा रही हुं, बिल्कुल पहले की तरह।
ख़ुद से दुर करने की तुम्हारी सारी कोशिशों को दरकिनार कर आगे बढ़ रही हुं,
अपने बनाए रास्तों पर।
जहां मेरी शर्तें मुझे डराती नहीं, मुझे प्रेरित करती हैं।
लेकिन हां, कभी कभी मुड़ती हुं, देखती हुं उन टेढ़ी-मेढ़ी गलियों को
जहां कभी अपना आशियाना दिखा करता था,
पर अब उन गलियों में रुकने का मन नहीं करता।
दुर से देखा करती हुं और बस अभी की तरह मुस्कुराते हुए वापस आ जाती हुं,
इसी रास्ते पर जहां वो सब है जो मैं कभी ढुंढ कर थक चुकी थी।
सच कहूं तो कुछ सवाल अभी भी रह गए हैं
लेकिन जितने जवाब हाथ आए
उतने ही काफ़ी हैं, मेरा मेरे पास होने के लिए।
और सुनो, तुम भी परेशान मत होना।
तुम्हारे जवाब भी यकीनन तुम्हारा इंतज़ार कर रहे होंगे,
शायद उन्ही गलियों के बाहर जहां तुम खोए थे,
किसी मोड़ पर। किसी धुन के साथ।
