It was the month of november,
and she was in my favourite colour.
She seemed pretty fine, until,
she saw the nickname given by me.
That "H Brkr" forced her to feel the guilt,
and I realised the mistake made by me.
The situation becomes full of chaos in no time,
then she overstepped to give her hand in mine.
That was the best moment we ever had,
when our eyes spoke and words had nothing to add.
The moment doesn't last so much long,
but it felt that she was with me all along.
Sadly, the time came when I left her hand,
but my heart screaming that hers need to be mend.
We start to walk like we always do,
her eyes trying to say what she had gone through.
This made me realise how selfish was am I,
as I was not there when she needed support of mine.
My heart wants to hold her,
but mind said you don't deserve her.
I just wanted to say, "I am sorry" and,
trust me I will never leave your side again.
But I couldn't gather up the courage,
and lightened the moment with a joke crack.
That day taught me the meaning of love and friendship,
both of which can never exist if you are selfish.

Ab teri khushi isme toh ye hi sahi,
Karlunga sabr soch ke tu meri qismat mein nahin!

Ab ye kusoor hai teri nazron ka ya sirf hai meri mohabbat!
