Behind the clouds there is a world Of light with small spots of darkness,
Healing in itself with the time,
Just like small heart of mine,
Far from here yet feels like standing a hand away,

Felt like I just got my wings back,

नादान परिंदा
कहने को तो आज़ाद था मगर पिंझरे में यू कैद था,
खुली हवा में भी घुटन का साया सा था,
प्यार बहुत था दोनो के बीच,
नफरत भली उस प्रेम से जिसने उसका ये हाल किया,
खाने पीने का ये था आलम
वक़्त बेवक़्त मिलता रहा
कभी कह न सका मन की बात और कई बार भूखा ही सो गया,
बाहे उसकी खुली थी पंख उसके भी खुले थे,
फिर भी लोहे की चार दीवरि में मासूमियत यू कैद थी,
कैदी से कम न था फिर भी प्यार से मिट्ठू का नाम दिया,
दिन क्या रात मुह पे सिर्फ राम का नाम,
खुदा भी सहम गया उसकी नादानी को देख,
और अपसोस किया इंसान का व्यवहार देख,
आते जाते लोगो का दिल था या पत्थर का एक मैदान,
गुनाह सिर्फ इतना था समझ न पाया वो नकली प्रेम का अभाव,
चाहत थे हम उसके फिर भी हमने उसे कोड किया,
खेल खिलाने के लिए हमने उसे पाल लिया,
शेर भी भीगी बिल्ली बन जाता जब पड़ता उसपे एक कोड़े का भार,
आखिर वो तोह परिंदा था फिर कहा का वो राजा था,
गुलामी किसे पसंद है,
क्या इंसान क्या पंछी का भाव,
आज़ाद करो नन्हे को,
पर बिना हमे उड़ने की चाह है,
फिर वो तोह खुदा का एक नायाब परिंदा है ।
