I saw and tried to grasp
even a minute figment
if it meant having
and I will weave the slightest light
into the brightest night....

Moving through this mess,
waiting, juggling and struggling,
trying to balance,
the chaos of absurd timings...

I want to wrap myself away
tucked in the cacoon
of my relishing memories
basking in their warmth
seeking nothing
just reliving them
one by one
holding onto them
forgetting everything else that went along

शायद हम बस खो जाना चाहते हैं
पल-पल बदलते इस वक़्त से
दम घोंटते उन झुठो से
दूर, कहीं बहुत दूर...

कभी बस गिरने को ही होते हैं
किसी तरह उम्मीद का रास्ता खौले
खुद को समेटे रखने की जद्दोजहद में
किसी तरह तैर सकने की
दूर इन चिखते- खरोचते ख्यालों से
पर खुद को डुबने से,
कहां ही बचा पाते हैं
उन्हीं किनारों पर कहीं,
हम भी दम तोड़ देते हैं.....

Sometimes we all wish to get lost
escaping the dunes of time
breaking free of those claustrophobic lies
Sometimes we all stand on the brink of a fall
trying to keep the will ajar
grasping frantically at the remains
hoping to swim across
these shallow apprehensive thoughts
yet nothing prevents
drowning thyself in this tug of war

If I was free
beyond the trajectory of my words
If it was this easy to say
It's not scaring just unsettling
As I'm not used to things this way
But I guess it's like this only
a delight,
packed and delivered unexpectedly
If I were asked to believe this
no offense, I would have laughed
might even end up rolling on the floor
Well let's say life has its own
confusing and knotted ways
To let us bloom in its tilted
yet seemingly apt way....

Yes we're struggling a bit
wondering thousands thoughts a second
Looking around grasping the change
and comparing it to
our sluggish walk
We may not be there yet
but we are along the way
Yes, we're struggling
trying with all our might
don't know what's at the very end
let's hope we don't dwindle till then....— % &

exhausted it's all I can sum it to
drained is all I am feeling
there's this eerie feeling
that won't go
the struggle remains
as of then and now
I'm very aware of the drill
but now I'm parched
with my solace in some other horizon
may be I'm caged
or just confined to mere thoughts
either I am wound up along it
or I have just accepted being far

I shatter into million pieces
yet everytime I found the courage
to gather and put them together
but everytime the pattern changes
some pieces grew, some lost
left with only empty spaces
and now I am guessing
what change I will be this time
to be honest I'm not scared
not any more
I have learnt to love my dishelved pieces
my scars: my memoirs

hold me like you have held these stars
cuddle me close with these clouds
I'm out here in the cold of life,
wrap me in your warm light....
