Desire- delinquent, dying.

Kaata hua, koi haseen dopahar Jaise.

It is Hard to believe somehow.

आज भी तराजू लिए बैठा हूं,
क्या टूटने दूं समझ नहीं पा रहा।
उससे किया हुआ वादा,
या उससे दिया हुआ दिल।

आज फूलों की दुकान पे भीड़ लगी थी,
और वो पागल एक पुरानी किताब तलाश रहा था।
सब्ज जिंदा फूलों के तो आशिक़ कई थे,
लेकिन वो उस एक सूखे हुए फूल को तरस रहा था।

तू आवाज दे कर तो देख,
उड़ते हुए परिंदे भी ठहर जाएंगे।
फ़िराक़ में घर जल गए थे जो,
वो भी आज सवर जाएंगे।

अर्सो से वस्ल के ख्वाब
सजाए बैठे हैं इन निगाहों में।
तू इतनी भी देर ना कर आने में,
की तुझे बिन देखे ही मर जाएंगे।
