If you are drowning yourself knowingly then no one can rescue you,
not even the almighty himself.

Love has so many shades. It comes in many shape, size and what not.
But the one that amazes me is the unconditional one,
One that changes you...
One that evolves you as a person...
One that helps you unlearn the toxic values...
One that dares you to break your inhibitions...
One that frees you, your soul!

And that's something I want to have at least once in my lifelong journey.
I call this love, soulful love, the love that captures one's heart yet frees the soul.

You always knew the onsra that accompanied it but the poignancy of parting with the characters gives you inexplicable feels.
A little water pooling up on corners of eyes, the slightly clogged nose, the half-hearted little smile, the shivering hands holding the book, the tremors surging all over oneself, the heaving chest caging the bitter yet content heart and finally bringing the zoned out self back to the real world- all of it is too much!
But it's worth it... You get to live a life, after all.

I need FEMINISM because,
I have seen, heard, learnt , empathize and have got inspired by two generations of women.
Who has faced, suffered and have triumphed in their own individual way over inexplicable circumstances thrown at them by the Patriarchy and Internalised misogyny...

And that's why, I wish pseudo feminism shouldn't be equated to feminism because it's in a way insult
to the said ladies.

~Yes, I'm Feminist,
No I don't hate the other gender...

There's this unparalleled solace in
fiction that beats reality.
It settles you down, even though it lasts for a few moments but it's worth it.
Because when it was there, you'd something to hold on to...

Years ago, the brutish shackles of colonialism got broken by our great freedom fighters with the tremendous bloodshed going on in the background. And after that India has been unstoppable...

But are we really free?
Free of the vicious shackles of... Do I even need to elaborate, you know them already.
Today, pledge to break these shackles for no one but us are responsible for it!
