एक शाम थी वो,
जो आँखों से इठला रही थी ।
एक नज़ारा था वो,
जो तुम्हे पुकार रहा था ।
और सामने था एक गहरा नीला समंदर,
जो सुकून की लहरें लिए बह रहा था ।
सफ़ेद चादर जैसी बिछी रेत,
हाथों को फिसला रही थी ।
ठंडी हवा के झोंके से,
बादल भी झूम रहे थे ।
और थोड़ा था सूरज भी मद्धम,
जो बस डूबने का इंतज़ार कर रहा था ।
मैं बैठा वहां ख़ामोशी से,
हर लम्हे से प्यार कर रहा था ।
पाँव फैलाए ज़मीन पर,
वो नज़ारे से जो मुलाकात हुई,
जो हुई न थी कभी खुद से,
उस दिन वो बात हुई ।।

कौन कहता है कि सब रंगों को बस होली ने समाया है,
बोली इतरा कर रंगोली दीवाली की ,
देखो ज़रा कैसे मैंने हर घर को रंगों से सजाया है।।

बैठी हुई गँगा किनारे मैं, गँगा को निहारती ।
इस कल कल बहते पानी को, अपनी रगों में उतारती ।
प्रफुल्लित हो उठता है ये मन,जब चलती है शीतल पवन ।
खिल उठता है रोम रोम उल्लास से,उस बहते जल की आवाज़ से ।
मैं अपने असतित्व को, इस पवित्रता से हूँ निखारती ।
बैठी हुई गंगा किनारे मैं, गंगा को निहारती ।।

कुछ ये लहरें छूती हुई तन को,
खिला देती है अंतर्मन को ।
कुछ किरणे खिलती सूरज की,
बिखरी हुई जल पर कनक सी ।
चमके ये आसमान और ये जल भी,
हुई थल पर भी फिर कुछ हलचल सी,
कर आत्मा को मेरे चंचल सी,
मझको एक मुस्कान से जैसे हो सँवारती ।
बैठी हुई गंगा किनारे मैं, गंगा को निहारती ।।

एक शोर है चरों तरफ और खोज में सुकून की
हर कोई निकला है..

किसी को राहत तो किसी को बस मिल रहे है आँसूं
जाने कैसी बेबसी है, कि हर कोई बिखरा है..

नहीं समेटने को गम अब कोई बाकी
ना बचा है कोई किसी का दुःख बाँटने को
कोई जीना चाहे भी अगर सर उठा कर
तो ये ज़माना बस काटने को दौड़ पड़ा है ।

उन गीली आँखों में जो तड़प है
क्या वो भी बस एक धोखा है
हर बात को, हर जज़्बात को दबा कर
हर कोई बस अकेला खड़ा है ।

कुछ है अभी ऐसे भी बाकी, जो दौड़ रहे है दूसरों के लिए
जान हथेली पर लिए, हर कोई सड़क पर खड़ा है ।

घर में रहना भी नहीं आसान ये मालूम है सबको,
पर बहार जाने का खौफ अब इन सब बातों से बड़ा है ।

देखो एक शोर है चरों तरफ, और खोज में सुकून की
हर कोई निकला है ।।

जी चाहता है रुक जाऊँ कभी,
इस भाग दौड़ से दूर जाऊं कहीं ।
साँस भरूँ और महसूस करुँ,
कि कहाँ ले जा रही है ये जिंदगी ।

अकसर बस सोच कर ही रुक जाती हूँ।
कभी खुद को समझाती हूँ,
तो कभी बस यूं ही मुकर जाती हूँ,
क्योंकि थम जाना भी तो नहीं सिखाती है ज़िंदगी ।

ये पल हैं ज़िंदगी के जो यूँ ही गुज़र जाते हैं,
थोड़ा हँसाते हैं, तो कभी थोड़ा रुलाते हैं।
आंसुओ को पोछना भी,
और खुशी को सोंखना,
दोनों ही तो सिखाती है ज़िंदगी।

The day comes to an end in eve.
The only thing that still stays,
Deep inside us lie these beautiful rays. The rays of hope keep you alive,
Help you fight with all odds of life.

Not all ends you may smoothly reach, You need to learn some lessons that life teach.
Not always ball is in your court, Sometimes you need to swim to reach the boat.
The strength of hope keeps you strong,
It makes you believe that nothing would go wrong.

When you are on a standstill,
When nothing goes by your will,
Just don't lose hope,
Coz it's the only way to cope.
Lift your head and hopes high,
Coz there's nothing that can fail you When you truly try.

I dreamt of a starry night,
the dim lights in the dark..
twinkling stars adding the spark..
and the moon shining above..
neither too dull, nor too bright.

You walking by my side,
holding hands so tight..
my heart skipping a beat..
each time u look at me..
our souls beneath the sky unite.

Leaving our footsteps,
on the sand as we walk,
creating memories to cherish,
in our every talk..
feeling the cool breeze that blows..
embracing the wave that touches our feet,
and back it flows..

a candle light dinner..
to satisfy the appetite.
I dreamt of a starry night..
my perfect date night.

when the storm pass,
it leaves behind..
the ash of my pieces,
that burned each day,
when you said GoodBye.

this storm never leaves me,
and churn me with it's wind,
so hard..
that it's surge carries me along.

these eyes never stop raining,
and the thunderstorm in my heart..
never loses it's heat.

What if..
all I fear,
will just repeat..
