Standing amidst blizzards,
I am simply a flake.
Not the wind,
Not the frigid air,
But such inside!!
Standing amidst earthquakes,
I am simply a pebble.
Not the rocks,
Not the fervent shake,
But such inside...
Standing amidst this life,
I am simply a viewer.
Not the praised,
Not the powerful voice,
But such inside!!

अग्नि सी जलती रहती हूँ ,
दर्द बन पलती रहती हूँ
सीप का मोती बनूँ बस ,
अश्रु बन ढलती रहती हूँ
तुम और तुम्हारा साया था,
साये से मन बहलाया था
अनगिन स्वप्न सजाएँ लेकिन
ख़ुद ही उन्हें जलाया था !
पथ का साथी बन सारा जीवन
साथ निभाना था
आकर के मन आँगन में
जीवन बगिया को महकाना था ;
जब-जब फ़ूल खिले आँगन में,
जब-जब रंग भरे सावन ने
रूप तुम्हारा दोहा बनकर
उतर गया तब गहरे मन में ।
हमारे प्रेम की लयबद्ध पंक्तियों से
अलंकृत कविता बनना चाहती थी मैं ;
पर कविता की शक़्ल बदल सी गई है अब,
शब्द राख से हैं, संग-ए-मरमर नहीं!
वो भावपूर्ण नहीं, वो सुसज्जित नहीं
वो वीभत्स है , भयभीत नहीं...
मेरे भाव अब ओढ़ा नहीं करतें दुशाला,
अश्वथामा से हैं, इन्हें अर्जुन से भय नहीं !
कविताएँ अब मेरी दोस्त नहीं,
मेरा हृदय अब कविताओं का गर्भगृह नहीं...
इनका बहाव अब कोई बहर नहीं ;
ज़िंदगी लंबी शाम है कोई,
उस पार कोई सहर नहीं...!!

It tests the limits my imaginations can stretch
It makes me question if what I am seeing is real...

Before I became strong,
I knew what it was like to be weak,
How difficult it is to love yourself,
To find the wholeness that you seek....💕💕
Before I knew the light,
I have had my fair share of darkness, too,
Where my world fell into a hopelessness
And I didn't know how to get through...!!
For I have known the tears it takes,
The courage to stand up again,
When you are broken down and bruised
And you know nothing but the pain !!
You forget to appreciate love,
If you haven't seen the hate,
Till you forget the meaning of smile & laughter,
And your heart is left abate.
I have known the strength & courage
It requires to get it right,
To face the things that hold you down
And hold your head up and fight !!...
I've always viewed life from the side lines,
Just watching it passing me by.
In the past, too afraid to just let go and live,
And lately too tired to try.
I've envied the people around me
So invested in living each day,
While I spent my time hiding out from the world
And searching for ways to escape !
For most of my life I truly believed
I was here to help somebody else,
But now it's so clear it was just an excuse.
To avoid living life for myself !!...

You're hanging, dangling
From a silver thread.
Empty, alone...
With the monsters within.
Internally screaming,
You just want to give in.
Now imagine that's you ;
Every day, every hour.
Forever sinking, like a wilting flower.
You try to tell your dad
And you try to tell your mom,
But they say you're being silly,
You've just got to move on.
Because teens don't know sorrow,
Nor the hardships of life.
They're just kids with imaginations
Just looking for attention, right?
You think that there's none
Who knows how you feel.
You're just so alone,
But the feelings- they're real.
Useless,Neglected, forgotten, distressed.
Alone,Afraid; but mostly depressed.
And your friends, they just go on !!!
Like nothing has changed.💔
