How is the day so bright today?
How the breeze so light?
For a star was born today
Amidst the darkest night!

Your eyes, they glitter
Like the sun setting in the ocean
They talk sweet and bitter
And in every emotion

Your laughter, it lights up
The woods in flame
Yet you never fail to tell me
That my joke was too lame.

Your hair, it seem
Like those tides
Where I’d love to swim
Though they brush me aside.

Your soul, so pure
Like the heavenly river
And the sarcasm, for sure
Will send some chills and quivers

I wish you a happy
And wonderful year ahead
For the star born today
Had guided the mislead!

Fuzzy and warm, until they tether.
You pull a wrong string, they start to unfurl.
And you wish you’ve had never,
For earlier they were better!

It would hum all the songs I wrote.
And sting my hand every time,
I would hit a writer’s block!

In the stories i write,
On the papers with droplets
Of tears as i contrite.

I know we don’t see each other much,
But I assure you I’ll be back in a week or such.
I know I haven’t tuned you since long,
But soon we both will hum a little song.
You know I make sure to check your neck front to end,
For rather I’d stoop down than see you take a bend.
You know I can’t sing yet you’ve heard me try,
You’ve heard me happy and seen me cry.
Well I’ve heard you too,
With every pluck i do.
And we’ve been there for each other,
In good days and blues.

Time and time again,
The agony crawls near.
Nothing else but loosing you,
Is my worst fear.

Searching for you everywhere,
I am left afew.
Not a single moment passes by,
Without thinking of you.

Scared!
I woke up with sweat on my forehead,
Shivering hands, sweaty palms,
Is there nothing that'll calm, my nerves down.
Nothing that can slam, my doors down.
Find me something that'll pull me, while i drown,
Or something that'll put me, into the ground.
Go get a shovel, pull the gravel,
But don't dig in too deep,
You might reach to my sleep,
And see my dreams, hear my screams,
They'll deafen you and your beliefs.
When you read in a tabloid,
About this good child,
Turned into a paranoid.
Asking for help,
To put an end to this void.
Screaming in pain ,
To end this agony this misery,
This head haunting history.
I'm battling with dilemma,
Cause if i sleep, i might wake up scared,
And if i don't, the thoughts in my head,
Will take a toll.
So make me sleep, but not so deep,
So i can wake up only then, when i'm relieved,
From what's making me shiver and quiver in grief,
From what's making me,
Scared!

The body was cleansed
thoroughly by the bather,
Yet the soul remained
maligned amidst the lather.

The fight gets even tougher,
When your opponent is YOU.

Bringing in the cold breeze.
Tender and soothing for some,
For some, just a tyrant disease.

The night crawls into my home,
Throwing out all the shadows.
Scary and alarming for some,
For some, their friends too close.
