Ek din aisa bhi tha...Jab asmaan mein Chand ko dekh ke unhe yaad karte the...
Lagta tha jaise unke hasi mein Chand si raunak hai...
Unka mere irt-girt hona Chand si kudraati tha...
Tab har raat kuch dafa Chand pe muskuraa leti thi....


Aur aj....
Waqt ki sitam bhi dekho...
Chand ko dekh ta hoon to lagta hai maano Chand mujpar taras khake mujpar hi has raha hai...

"I am always there for you,bestie"-the reply came within a second.

And people are busy making NewYear Resolutions...
And here I am..
Trying to recollect and relive all the memories spent in this year..

WE NEVER KNEW,
The city lights are nothing but imposters just like the fake smile which we are tired of showing off.

WE NEVER KNOW,
The lights may be glowing,but that glow burns them inside..Just like we hide our pain and tears with a fake glowing face.

WE NEVER WILL KNOW,
The innumerable tears of the citizens..their sufferings..All will be concealed by the colours and glow of the city.

We all are glowing colorful lights,
But deep inside we are all DARK,DIM AND LONELY lanes of the city.

It's hard to forget the pain caused by people you thought would never hurt, but as long as you hold on to that, those things and those people will keep on hurting and haunting you. So at some point of life, we all have to let go off the past and forgive the ones who didn't bother to keep you in their life. You cannot forget them until you learn to forgive. No matter how much you want to make things back to normal, you have to accept that they can never be the same. Most importantly, if things were favourable, you would not have called it your past, in the first place. They are your past because they were destined to be so. Keep walking forward on your path and someday, there will be things that will heal all your past wounds.
