I felt a tinge of flutter when those soft curls brushed my fingertips. His smile spread like a warm blanket near my torso. Curled up to his presence gushing the heat he moved a little closer, now tilting my head to get a gleaming view of my majesty trying to ponder his affection by tying my anklet and fiddling with my toes. He said, “ I hope they don't fall again”, with a tinge of worry webbed to his face. “ I think they already have”, I replied.

When I look around I don't feel the urge to hold onto the past, but to only dream that I could be with you in the future.
