I used to call the rabbit as babbit;
Watching my nani making pickle was my habit;
Singing nursery songs was my hobby;
Listening to raja- rani stories in the lobby;
Sprinkling the water of rain;
Imitating the "chhuk chhuk" of the train;
Love meant mom and dad;
Thinking school was mad;
No worry about the achievements;
Just thinking about the fun and enjoyments;
Those days disappeared in a sway;
To go back to them there is no way.

Dear chachaji,
I was told that you were the Indian version of the beloved Santa Claus, you loved children, irrespective of the fact that they were not your own children. My respect for you increased manifold. But as I grew up, I realized that you loved children but your grandchildren don't love us, instead they have become so greedy that they are ready to kill our dreams.

Waise to wo bada shaant swabhaav ka Hai;
Ladaai jhaghde se 10 kadam ki durri banaye rakhne waalon mai se;
Magar ek din usne haath uthaya;
Pata nhi meri kya galti thi;
Uska haath mere kandhe ko lag kr pichhe ki taraf kisi se takraya;
Pichhe mudi to ek aadmi ko niche gira paaya.

Sach kehte hai log pyaar k khaatir koi jaan le bhi sakta hai aur de bhi sakta hai.
