Walking on the beach
I left my footprints
Your uproarious waves
washed them away
silently daring me
to make new prints
Only to wash away again...-
Words would have said it all...
but alas,
we were comfortable in silence
-
attempt yet another line
beckons the rapidfire, as
clock chimes nine
-
I have been everywhere
from sky to coast
Your arms is the place
I feel loved the most-
I train my eyes
to see anything but you
I train my ears
to hear anything but you
I train my brain
to think of anything but you
But how do I train my heart
to beat for anything but you-
in our quest to win
we keep competing
like two trains running
parallel, never meeting
-
Our love is bound by time
We keep meeting now and then
Like the two hands of a clock
-
you did not wish
to ever be 'bound'
and you left
leaving behind
a broken 'bond'
-
lie like the old books
on the shelves of a library
constantly reminding me
of the glorious past
-
you whispered
like the breeze
caresses a rose
carrying along its scent
I danced
feeling treasured
just with a simple
touch utterly content
-
