শিশিরভেজা শিউলিফুলে, শরতের প্রত্যাবর্তন
স্বচ্ছ আকাশ জুড়ে কেবল, সাদা মেঘেদের আবর্তন।

এই শারদীয়া অন্যরকম, অকাল মহামারীর রেশ
আগমনী শুভেচ্ছায়, মানুষের অসহায় গৃহবন্দী বেশ।

উমা এসেছে বছর ঘুরে, শােধিতে প্রকৃতির ঋণ
সবার মনে খুশির মেলা, ঢাকের সুরে লাগে আশ্বিন।

আলতা মাখা মায়ের পদধ্বনি, মিঠেল রোদ্দুর
কাশ বন অপরূপা, বাতাস মাখে আগমনীর সুর।

সময় ফিরুক আগের রূপে, মায়ের অপার মহিমায়
মুক্তি হােক বন্দী দশার, পূজিত উমা শ্রদ্ধার উপমায়।

নিধন হােক মহামারীর, সুখ সময়ের আচ্ছাদনে
আগমনী বার্তায় ভুবন আবৃত, মায়ের পুন্য দৃষ্টিকোণে।

||এক সৈনিকের আত্মকথা||

প্রসূতি ও দেশ সমার্থক মননে, আশ্রয় আমার সীমান্তরেখা,
মৃত্যুর চুম্বন জীবনের সহযাত্রী, রক্তে বারুদের অগ্নিশিখা।

বিনিদ্র রজনীর অতন্দ্র প্রহরী, প্রিয়জনের ঠিকানা হতে বহু ক্রোশ দূরে,
রণাঙ্গনের বুক চিড়ে কাঁটাতারের গর্জন, বীরাঙ্গনার সম্মান রক্ষাকে ঘিরে।

ঠাণ্ডা ঘরে তোলা যুদ্ধের হাঁকে, সৈনিকের কাঁধে হানা কঠিন দায়িত্বভার,
স্পৃহার শিকার হাজারের নিয়তি, শুকুনে ভাগ নেয় শ্মশান-কবরখানার।

স্বপ্নেও ভাসে অন্ধকার ট্রেঞ্চ, আছি আমি শুয়ে বুলেট মেখে,
মায়ের ভাঙা কোলে পৌঁছবে দেহ, কাফনের বাক্সে পতাকা ঢেকে।

'মরণোত্তর বীরচক্র', 'মোমবাতি মিছিল'一 আমার বিদায় একশো কুড়ি কোটির অশ্রুজলে,
তারপর একদিন বিস্মৃত হবে সবই, বলিদানের স্মারক হয়ে রয়ে যাবো দেওয়ালে।

বিষ হতে অমৃতের জন্মলগ্নে, চিতাভস্ম স্তূপের বিস্ফোরণ হতে,
কয়েক কোটি যোদ্ধার অভিষেক হবে, পুণ্যাত্মা জন্মভূমির এই মাটিতে।

'শহীদ' হতে নির্ভীক যারা, 'অমর' হতে যাদের বক্ষ অকম্পিত,
সংকল্পে দৃঢ় নিবেদিত প্রাণে, বাঁচুক তাদের স্পন্দন অবিরত।

Kudos to the warriors in white,
Who fight against the morbidities in every sight.
Regardless if it is day or night,
Their dedication is their ultimate might.
The capacity which their stethoscopes place,
Has blessed them by the Almighty's grace.
Their will, determination and work,
Have the potentiality to change the clock.
Their restless struggle against such odd,
Has benefited the ones who can't afford.
'Thank you' for them is just a little word,
As their sacrifice deserves more than what they cared.
