जहां तुझसे छूटा, उन गलियों से नफरत हो जाना,
तेरी सलामती की खुदा से आरज़ू किए जाना,
तेरी यादों से खुदको रूबरू किए जाना,
तुम भी हम जितने हीं बेताब रहते होगे,
ये सब सोचकर अब कितना अच्छा लगता है।।

उनकी शर्द निगाहों नें,
उनकी लहराती जुल्फों नें।
उनकी मतवाली चालों नें,
उनकी बचकानी बातों नें।।
उनकी इन्ही अदाओं नें,
मन मेरा सारा मोह लिया।
और मुझको ना ये सोह रहा,
जीवन मेरा किस ओर चला।।
