JUDGEMENT DAY: An Elegy
Part- VI
But on Judgment Day, all went wrong,
Own people betrayed, the weak were strong.
History repeated, the cycle unbroken,
Betrayal anew, trust forever forsaken.
In the end, the soil cried out,
A millennium's lesson, left in doubt.
For even when the truth was told,
Hearts turned cold, and lies retold.-
JUDGEMENT DAY: An Elegy
Part- V
The day had come—spoke the farthest star.
The colors vibrant, as vibrant as Gatsby.
Fancy balloons and masques featured,
The finest the Damozel could see.
Crawling Yahoos, wriggling and squirming,
Chanted names so proudly.
Never knew He could hear those again.
Neither Duchenne nor gently.-
JUDGEMENT DAY: An Elegy
Part- IV
Gathered the vapours, rain,
Rocks, sands, dust, and water.
Millennia the sun rose and set,
The moon cried together.
Here, here the blood foundation was laid.
Soon the soil gained its essence,
Smelling no less than the ancient Onychas
Or the Ratranis divinely blessed.-
JUDGEMENT DAY: An Elegy
Part- III
He crawled against the stream so gently,
With no rolling eyes upon him.
So did He, lead the path,
Never turning back to them.
Years of tears, struggle, pain, and cries,
Sweat, blood, and ill-fated generations died.
Cry, cry, cry no more.
He stared up and swore so.-
JUDGEMENT DAY: An Elegy
Part- II
It was tired, it was ruined,
It was brutalized, it was soiled.
Not just once-
But for no less than a millennium.
Eyes wept, legs shivering,
Hands starved, hearts moaning.
No one dared, as the Bumble was the guard.
None returned, only the dead.
Highnesses and Highness-
The cries were noticed, the moanings heard,
Dressed in white, The Lamb in the herd.
Born! Born! Born! the lamps were lit.
The sky smiled, dead Houyhnhnms sit.-
JUDGEMENT DAY: An Elegy
Part- I
Betrayal isn't something that
God passed through his tip.
It was them who pruned it into them.
It passed and passed and
Passed across millennia.
That vapour watered and vaporized
A thousand times a thousand.
They evolved—their physic and their skull,
Their limbs and tails turned shorter—
And so did the content within.
Civilizations formed, empires drowned,
From jazz to the hostings,
Everything the soil had seen.-
I love you but let me not love you till I earn a status to love you.
-
If you can trace the feelings running in your veins,
If you can cage the urban stress and wing yourself
to the Nature's lap,
YOU ARE HUMAN!
If you can hear the sound of the rustling leaves,
If you can feel the love between the mother and her calf,
YOU ARE HUMAN!
If you can sit by the lake and chat with the whoopers,
If you can dive into the shower of mist over the slopes,
YOU ARE HUMAN!
If we can stare at the unending miles with
tear and a smile,
If we can let our chained souls meet the roots.
WE ARE HUMANS!-
SAILOR'S GOODBYE
Part - IV
My lady, here we part as unpleasantly it honks.
How cruel the time is. I pray let never our love
Be forgotten, though not in legendary tales;
If ever the day arrives out of worldly distractions,
Fail not to look once at the webby book shelves
Will still find my part love in the form of dry petals.-
SAILOR'S GOODBYE
Part - III
Speak you not under the shadow of innocence
And swear never for loving ages and more,
Time's the devil, weeps the timeless ocean winds
Swearing in love is like modesty to a whore.-
