The petrifying silences of a never-ending trail, have a ghastly scary tale. I ponder if I should look behind to check the occasional pitter-patter of maybe a hidebehind. I need to pass this harrowing odyssey. Skip this state of trepidation till kingdom come.

So I take thy name to make-believe, that you are near, to put me at ease.

The road is dark and gloomy. I am scared of this darkness. I am petrified with these silences. So stay near me for the light is low.

मुस्कुरा उठा हर फूल, जब नाम तेरा चला आया।

झिलमिल जगमगाते अंधेरी चादर मैं ख्वाइशों के जुगनू पाले थे,

हवा भी है सहज मद्धम
नहीं गरज रहे बादल भी,
ये तो साफ है कि शांत है आसमान
पर ना जाने चांद लाल क्यू है

फलक पर चांद सितारे निकलते है हर शब
पर बदलो की आजमाइशों का ज़ोर है आज
ना पूरा होने देंगे उसे
इस गुस्ताखी से खफा है चांद
इसीलिए शायद नाराज़ है और लाल है चांद

Stay near me, for the light is Low. Further on up, the road is dark and thin. The lamps are gloomy and I am lonely. Apart from the occasional hiss, it's all silent as if its an empty room. I am scared of this darkness. I am petrified with these silences. So Just Stay Near Me For The Light Is Low

अभिमान नहीं गुमान था, हम तो असलियत पर सर फोड़ आए।

करना क्या है आगे, थोड़ी हमको भी सद्बुद्धि देना प्रभु,
क्युकी सद्बुद्धि नहीं मिलती बाज़ार में,
हम नौटंकी बटोर लाए।
