NOSTALGIA

I loitered in the vast crowds
Amidst the chaotic emptiness of mine,
The Dusk had fallen already
And the chaos vanished in that fading horizon line.

Evoked the souvenirs that were burried
And I reminisced about the dreamy past,
Bittersweet yet fascinating it was,
Till the last breath which was going to last.

Soon I was lying on the green meadows
Under the scattered clouds of the winter sky,
The desolation faded and I was no longer alone
As the most familiar faces perched nearby.

The clock had turned back
As I heard those same laughs,
Was I dreaming with my eyes wide open
Or was it a glitch in the matrix on my behalf.

Nostalgia it was that had me engulfed,
And the catchy memories began to shuffle,
Filled me up with the heavenly delight
And there I remained completely baffled
Lost in the bewilderness of the fleeting glimpses,
As I had a moment to cherish for which everybody wishes.

FALLING FOR YOU

At the moment I saw you
Smiling at me like none,
Knew I was going to fall for you
As if you were the only one.

Resisted myself enough,
Bound myself with chains of ignorance,
Dug a vast canyon of separation,
As I burried a part of me in them.

Hid in the darkness of uncertainty,
Was lost in the fog of fear,
The fear of not being loved
By someone who holds me dear.

Yet everything went in vain,
The fog cleared and the chains broke,
In the reviving sunshine of yours
The burried me somehow woke.

The fear came true,
As if it were a witch's curse,
In the sea of my own feeling
The poor me was being immersed.

The fall ripped my soul apart,
Devastating it was, yet my life's beautiful gain
Although you weren't there for me when
My ripped soul was screaming in pain,
And now I am on my feet
Why do I still want to fall for you again.

IN THE STARRY NIGHT

In the starry night
Sitting beside you,
Holding our hands tight,
Shivering in the falling dew,
Wrapped in the blanket of each other,
Admiring the most precious thing
i could ever gather.
You gazing the moon and the stars,
I gazing you for hours,
The moonlight falling on your face
Got me awestruck in the first place,
Longing for the time to stop,
To be frozen in that moment
I just hope.
Your warm hand in the hand of mine,
Sending chills down my spine,
Listening to all of your talk,
Spellbound me like some tales of folk,
Sea of innocence lying in your eye,
Depth felt like falling from the sky.
Praising with words seems to be a sin,
Nights without you
I couldn't even imagine,
The moon and the stars,leaving it to them,
Radiance of you and those heavenly
Bodies seemed to be the same,
Glowing and twinkling for you in the night,
Eternity passed away for me
In that overwhelming sight.
The whole night sky witnessing our love ,
Showering the meteors in awe from above.

Metamorphosing into the gold in dawning sunshine

MEMORIES FOR LIFE

It was the dawn of a new life,
Things went smoothly without any rife.
Everybody just seemed weird at the first thought,
But we became the family without any doubt.
Someone like you there is no other,
You are the closest thing I have to a brother.
All the seven days in a week,
You were the ones who brought smile down my cheeks.
Be it the ecstacy be it the pain,
We were always together to share the same.
Unforgettable are those memories, Memorable are those days
When happiness used to find us in a million ways.
Agony is vivid in these times of end,
But far more vivid is the Joyous moments we together spent.
Separation from you felt like my heart being pierced by a knife
Boundless are those memories meant for life.

THE OCEANS

Deep beneath the glacial sheets,
Lies the oceans with trenches so deep,
With waves ferocious enough to immerse,
Ripples strong enough to make you weak.

The trenches will be summoning you,
Calling for its immense abyss,
Elegant and alluring it may seem,
Which you will be reluctant to miss.

Struggle to escape will entangle you more,
Strangle you to the void so prominent,
But the wrestle should never end.
Only the courage within your core
Will make you a fury so dominant.

Triumph will be yours for the grit you keep,
Riding those waves will now be of ease,
Even the mightier chains have been overcame,
Nothing will be binding you to the deep,
Just for the true self you will have to seek.
