Kashmir was known for its impeccability with zero crimes taking place since it's origin. but now it has taken the shape of rest of the world where the crime rate is so high, where every day marital affairs are on the rise. Rapes taking place at an alarming rate, Late marriages due to very complicated rituals has now arrived in the villages too & with the result the rate of crimes are bound to increase very rapidly.
Another side of the story is sectarianism (firqa wariyat) which has engulfed whole valley & the muslim scholar of one school of thought issuing fatwa on the other one based on small issues & with the result the mutual hatred is being spread at the unsettling rate.
