Running after PhDs and writting scholarly articles,
Telling people you've read all these books..
I'm sure all this is amazing, but honestly what's the point of all this great knowledge if you can't be nice or empathize..
If you can't genuinely love your family, your friends.
If you can't understand the mental health and basic human rights, and all the real stuff..
So you don't impress me with that worldly stuff.
Unless you tell me ,
There's a beauty in that trauma poetry, tell me that the only number that matters is the number of memories we make, number of people we are capable of loving, not the numbers in our balances.
Why have we normalized everything so easily?
Why don't we take a pause and understand and grow..
One day we'll get there..
