The Smiling Fool
The circus runs in the fair's middle,
Where people gather to share and giggle.
Laughter, smiles, joy, and mirth,
All celebrate the joker's worth.
The joker, the circus's soul,
Has but one life goal:
To amuse and entertain the crowd,
Receiving their judgment loud.
Underneath his hat of happiness,
He hides no beguile but kindness.
The life of the smiling fool is more than play,
It's about brightening each day.
Behind the painted smile he wears,
His own joys and sorrows, he bears.
