Are we really independent?
Look around
Circumstances are same
Only reasons are changing.
Growth has been numb
We're feeding rumours instead
of hungry ones
Deaths are more active than
People are
Celebrations causing more pollution
Than carbon far
The country hasn't developed
But Anger is
Crysis has been running
Through all our veins
Because blood remains on street
likewise the Mumbai rains.
How do we get so much pity
All we need is Equity.
