But my heart craves for stillness
That stillness of being secure
In Your constant presence
That will never leave me alone

That brings joy and nothing else
Do not vile away precious time
To dissect darkness and it's kind

Keep your eyes fixed on beauty
The pleasant and divine vibes
Everything that causes unrest
Will soon fall away by themselves

Somewhere between what i think I am
And what in reality is my throbbing life
Lies the truth about where I stand My Lord
Lead me from there to You Whom I forever call

When I pull myself down citing my many flaws
When I feel proud about a fleeting success
Not in this end nor in that extreme I am
Somewhere in between I actually belong

Do not leave me dejected and hopeless
Do not leave me holding false pride
Keep me grounded wherever I stand
Guide me from here to You at all times

With every single one my heart meets
There is a trade off needed it now feels
Looking at their flaws a waste of time
I can grow wiser if their wisdom was mine

So a little practice now let my heart practice
Let it look at everyone as a teacher it needs
Recollect one vice of mine and ponder on it
Find one strength of theirs and be in awe of it

My weakness placed before stands ashamed
Their strength an inspiration to my being
Like a bee gathering nectar from everyone
My heart inspired by all strengths around
