Being aware of You is a beautiful gift
That which can erase every unrest
Like a rainbow in some pale blue skies
Your memory brings joys back to life

When a worldly tremor hits my heart
Sorrow is as You are forgotten My Lord
If You were on the top of my mind
Can there be pain that swallows all I am

Knowing Your Presence alone is bliss
Forgetting You is the only sorrow felt
All that comes leaves me untouched
When Your awareness soaks my existence

When life's rudest shocks hit my heart
You were not beside nor was You name My Lord
The heart mind and soul that claimed to be Yours
Did not hold You for the shortest time now


When I look back and ask myself why is this so
Maybe my heart tied You only to the joys felt
Never did it think You can send hurt to it
Even the inevitable it felt You can avert it


Now after the longest pause it understands
Something else You are to us mortals unknown
You are beyond all dualities that are known
Away from feelings You are beyond joy and sorrow

If I have offered unto You
Everything each moment of time
What is left as mine in this now
Slate of my acts clean with love

But whenever illusions hit me
I am the doer this act is mine
Awaken me from this slumber
Let me find You right beside

With You by my side My Master
Only the eternal truth shines
Sense of doership leaves my side
Free I am doing everything I can

Keep shaking me from my slumber My Lord
Keep pushing me to limits beyond what I can
Keep putting me in situations that hurt my heart
For in these times You are My Dearest One

Else all tiny pleasures of this illusionary world
Seem to be fulfilling and complete with time
A speck of joy that is eager to leave my side
My heart foolishly believes to be eternally mine

When You send hurt that cuts and pierces
You become the medicine and the healer too
Loving care my being receives from You now
Both hurt and wound now blessings from You

Let your ego die as much as it can

Not being noticed
Not being acknowledged
Not being accepted

Are some of the many ways the Universe tries to help you by thrashing your ego and what do we do instead of accepting it as a gift we gather our energies to keep the ego safe

We invest our everything

To be noticed
To be acknowledged
To be accepted

We are defeating the very purpose these gifts are sent

Next time you encounter a situation where you feel left out, pause and embrace the gift. In the long run, there will be nothing more precious to cherish.

इस माया में तुम्हारे देखो
कैसे जकड़ा हु जन्मों से
तेरा स्मरण साथ रखकर
चलता रहूं बिना कुछ सोचे।

तू चला रहा सबके जीवन
सबके कर्म भी तेरा खेल है
मुझे मुक्त होना है फलों से
मेरे कर्म उनके फल सब तेरे।
