It was a cold, breezy night. She had a little too many drinks. But something got her to sober up, a girl, bold and beautiful, gazing back at her. The cool breeze brushed through her hair, whispering in her ears what she had known for a long time but not acknowledged.

If you laugh at yourself as much as you laugh at everybody else you'll be a better and happier person

Believe me I have had doubts. But I realised that she never gave up on me, even when I wanted to give up on myself, even when I wanted her to give up on me, she didn't. Maybe it was the promise that she kept which made me believe without a doubt that she was meant for me.
