To be a woman is not easy ...with so many roles to endeavour
She is always busy
Age, status,education no bar ..she is the family's shining star
Not appreciated,not respected but still she strives and thrives
For sailing through life's journey afar

And without any worries gorge upon that yummy food
No, not pasta pizzas and exotic ones
Just mangoes,jackfruits and so much fun
Let's once again move freely without any restrictions
Sit in the college canteens and beat the table spilling out our emotions
Let's once again meet our friends and have a reunion
Not in those lavish halls or malls,
But a college katta sipping that hot tea will never be small
Let's once again fight with our friends for that petty assignments
Chatting and then forgiving for that argument
Let's once again make those memories
That childhood was so much always fun with our dearies

खुप काही करायचे राहून गेले

आता मात्र विसावा घ्यावे असे वाटते
मुकलेले क्षण परत जगावे असे वाटते
पण वेळ कोणासाठी थांबत नाही
मागे फिरायला पुन्हा देतच नाही
थोडेसे बिंदास होऊन जगायला शिकले पाहिजे
आयुष्य जगायचे आता राहूनच गेले

Those drops of my tears were so valuable you will never know
Those hurtful lines that touched my soul when I let you go
Those drops of rain that tells my existence when they fall on my face
Enjoy that moment, free yourselves from this rat race
Those drops of water that spills from taps makes us realise
That every small thing is so important,and it never lies
Those drops of tea from that soaked biscuit tells me to savour it quickly
Else time doesn't wait for anyone, it will wash away swiftly
Those drops from that washed clothes tells me about hardwork
That I'm lazy and how not to depend just on luck
So drops of any nature teaches us something
And lastly the drops of sweat never fails us in the task for accomplishing

मुआवजे कि बात तो हमसे बहुत होती रहेगी
पर हमें इंसाफ का रास्ता कोई नहीं दिखाएगा
बेटी की खुशी,यही हमारी खुशी, यही सोचकर उसे शिक्षा दी
पर क्या पता था समाज के नरभक्षियों से यूं सजा मिल जाएगी
मर्यादा पुरुषोत्तम के इस देश में मर्यादा ही नहीं रही
सारी सीमाएं लांघ कर मर्दों ने खुद की लाज उतार दी
कभी निर्भया, तो कभी अभाया ,इन नामों से कुछ नहीं बदलेगा
बस ऐसी घटनाएं राजनीति में तब्दील हो कर रह जाएगी

I have been reading since childhood
And reading all day
It was so engrossing that books kept my stress at bay
I read in fact about everything
I have been reading all day
It made me confident to speak what I want to say
It enhanced my knowledge and developed my skills
I would read every single day
Come what may
I read so many different genres that helped me brush my mind
Even though I don't have any friends all along
My best friend,my books are here to stay

But she expects you to stand besides and be her driving force
A mother never says she felt bad even if she has felt
But she might explain you about how you have dealt
Thus she makes you a better human being

Table in the kitchen
The aroma of besan laddoo still lingers in my mind
That Amma used to keep on that kitchen table far behind
Earlier tables in the kitchen were more of storing
As we all would sit down in the kitchen which was never boring
The table in the kitchen would be full of surprise
With pickles to those cold limbu pani in summers were a respite
Also the tables were meant for last minute revision
With Amma's stern voice while cooking ,we gave it all from competition to examination
So those kitchen tables had the most cherished time
I reminisce about my childhood as I rushed to the kitchen inside

Luring a layman with job,home,luxuries which are never sought
Well, just like ipl ,politics is also a game
Irs that season where only a common man bears the blame
