I became immersed in a perfect illusion.
A hallucination I never wished to snap out of.
It was a distressing short period between meeting you and having the urge to say, ”I love you”.
Please, don't wake me up from this wondrous reverie!

Some days like the sunny-windy Saturday
I just want to do nothing
but have a glass of some Italian red wine with you
While we submit to a heart-to-heart communication
And I get lost inside your eyes.

Sometimes I just want to skip the
”let’s get to know ourselves better”
to being tangled in love already.

They claim love hasn't found them
Yet they abuse every atom of love right before their eyes
For their hearts cannot recognize love
They bleed of darkness
Darkness carried from past experiences.

He is my favourite dream and reality
The one I have to fall asleep to see
In every dream of the night and day,
to relish his presence and affection.
Love is real only in dreams.
Please, don't wake me up.
For when I'm up,
I'm only left with his fragrance and cloudy weather
As an assurance of his existence.
But a torment in this sphere.

Under the stars,
He placed his head on her chest
As he enjoyed the rhythms of her heart
And their souls synchronized.
It's a shooting star!
She made a silent wish of visiting the Maldives.
He kisses her soft lips
And then, it was a magical world
on the Vaadhoo Island in the Maldives.

In the quietude of the rainy Sunday evening
Taking a sip of Pinot Noir wine
He stared into my eyes,
as we yelled promises in the crash of thunder.
Our lips collided
And the breath from his heart
spellbound my soul.
Oh wow, his lips taste like Paris
Just as I imagined.
At that moment, the world was ours
And I could taste a thousand lifetimes.

On our short road trip
I could see the sparkle on his face
And a gleam of hope
When he held my hand and whispered,
”your hardest laughter is yet to come.
So, enjoy life like you're having your best kiss beneath the Bridge of Sighs in Venice at sunset”.

he was a stranger somewhere who was no one to me.
But my calm, warmth, and everything beautiful and magical in October.
