My mom once said,

I imagined you to be mine.
Put sincere efforts so that you remain mine.
But still I had to lose you.
I questioned my mom,
And this time she said,
"Who is meant for you would be yours effortlessly".
So I have stopped putting in efforts
And all that is mine is "me".
