My love's vulnerabilities,
Already threatened by fate,
Further exacerbated,
By my stupid passionate mistakes.

'Get hold of your emotions',
'Delay gratification',
People advise always.

'Momentary pleasures' cost forever,
'Careless attitude' hurt the one's we revere.

Maybe 'Tough love' is the need,
From friends,family and lover indeed.
To redeem myself from these misdeeds.

Long long time ago
Roamed the DRAGONS
In clear blue skies.

Breathing fire
Feasting on anything
In their way
With bursting rage it their eyes.

But captured and 'tamed' by Man
Used and abused
Killing their ANIMAL instincts
That's how they became EXTINCT.

Few still fly
But very miniaturised
As DRAGONFLY
Longing for their lost might.

Between hysterical laughter
And incessant melancholy
There is a long wait for whimsical DEATH.

A Diary Of DISAPPOINTMENT

वर्षा, बारिश, बरखा,
All the downpour,
Keeps people away,
From the ones they adore.

This pitter patter of rain,
turning schemes of
chitter chatter in vain.

Millions of molecules of vapours,
Coalesce to form few droplets.
Alas! My gazillion thoughts,
Couldn't even make our hearts connect.

PASSION,
Of REVOLUTION beyond imagination.

Also of JUSTICE,
And ofcourse BLOOD.

Isn't it a coincidence that,
You have to bleed thousand times,
To get these all done.

जहाँ इश्क़ महकता है,
मुस्कुराहट है जहाँ की पहचान,
जिंदादिली और मासूमियत बरकरार है अभी,
अंजानो से भी आप करके चलती है बात,
एकता और भाईचारे की पहचान,
ये नवाबों का शहर लखनऊ है मेरी जान।

Science has its mystery,
Love has it's history,
Spare me the sorcery,
Of this life full of misery.

Things change people change,
'Values' and 'Equations' change,
It's the 'Identities',
That remains the same.

It's amazing how people downplay your selfless love and sacrifices of the past but ever ready to pounce on mistakes of the present.

It may be because of lack empathetic understanding or not knowing limitations of human nature.

I guess we ignore the flaws and mistakes of the one we are attached to and exaggerate the same of others.

Don't know if we are biased or only these inclinations makes us HUMAN.
