जिस से प्रेम किया उसे पा न सको,
या जिसे पा लिया उसे प्रेम न कर सको?"

मैंने कुछ ठहर कर,धीमे से कहा —
"उसको छोड़ के चले आना...
जिससे प्रेम करना ना छूटता हो।"

unbending,
our roots strangled
in the hush beneath us.

we flare upward
