I saw you walking down the road that night,
I was right behind you,
I saw you transform into something vague,
I stood still in shock
thinking what just happened

I pulled myself back together,
I tried to stop you.

I started running towards you.

As the road took a turn,
You did too.

I felt scared to go further but I did,
I saw you at the dead end, I felt relieved.

Finally you looked at me!

I got chills down my spine.

That face, who was it?
I don't think I have ever seen it,
I misunderstood you for someone I knew.

I was naive, I agree, that I came so far,
For a person I didn't even know.
Now I understand why didn't you respond while I was calling the name.

I turned back this time
And came back the same way I went,
