#Still no strong intent, thinks international analysts

America is a notorious weapon seller. Never make the mistake of thinking it to be an ethical country. It will never want it's client base to attacked. Today's retaliation by US on one of the IS-K terrorist leaders is just a political gimmick in front of world pressure.

US has always attacked a minimal portion of any terrorist group and never wanted to uproot any of them. During Afghanistan invasion also, Army was never given the command to kill, they were just asked to restrain. Through ISI and Pakistan government, all the weapons indirectly reach these groups. More than any government, these power hungry terrorist groups will need active weapons. And so US will always be an indirect supporter and sponsor of this chaos and disorder.

The world is waiting for the sweetest sound to be heard in 2021. The sound of military bullets spearing through the flesh of Talibans.

With Kabul as the latest city to fall in the hand of Talibans, the 20 year old horrors of rapes and public killings in Afghanistan resurface. Forcible conversion to Islam, forcible marriage of young girls with terrorists were as frequent as sun rays. Complete chaos in the country as Afghan President flees the country, leaving citizens in a fix. Airports are overcrowed with puzzled citizens and immigrants.

Global powers including India are rightfully being criticized for their oblivious attitude in this blatant violation of human rights. Immediate military assignments should be given. The rational world must step up to the plight of Afghans! We are all waiting. For the Talibans to be answered. With Brahmos, with Apache helicopters, with F22 raptors maybe. Let the thirsty 5th generation fighter jets quench their thirst with the blood of these terrorists!

বৃদ্ধ একজন দোকান চালায়, বিক্রি খুবই যৎসামান্য। তবে তার আশা একদিন দোকানের হাল ধরবে তার ছেলে। আর পরিবারের এই দীনতা বেশিদিন থাকবে না।

আশা পূরণ হওয়ারই হয়তো ছিল! নাহলে বৃদ্ধের ছেলের সাথে সাথে কেনই বা এই দোকানটিকে সংসারের সমতুল্য করে ফেললো পুত্রবধূ!

কিভাবেই বা কলাপাতায় খেতে দেওয়া একটি অন্ধকারাচ্ছন্ন দোকানের নাম বদলের আবদার লোকের মুখে মুখে ভাসতে লাগল। কোন সামর্থেই বা কর্পোরেট ফুড চেন কে টেক্কা দিল একটি পরিবারের অন্নের সংস্থান ! কেনই বা ছুটে আসতে গেলেন সৌরভ, দেশ বিদেশের সেলিব্রিটিরা , এমনকি আমেরিকান এম্ব্যাসি!!

বাইরের রাজ্যে গর্ব করে বলে এসেছি "কটা পাবলিক বাস চলে বাবা তোমাদের এখানে? সবটাই তো বাইক আর ট্যাক্সি।"

কলকাতার অনেক গর্বের মধ্যে একটি , এই শহরের বিস্তীর্ণ গণ পরিবহন। আজ তা প্রায় অবলুপ্তির পথে। ৯০% যাত্রীর পরিবহনের মাধ্যম , আজ এক কোণায় ধুঁকছে। সৌজন্যে পেট্রোল ডিজেলের মূল্যবৃদ্ধি।

"অরাজকতার থেকে ভাড়া বাড়ানো ভালো, মনে করছেন সিংহভাগ যাত্রী।"

তবে মাননীয়ার তাতে মাথাব্যথা কেনই বা হবে? খাতায় কলমে তো তিনি মানুষের পাশে, তিনি দাম বাড়ান নি। আরে সে এখন লোকজন কে পনেরো গুন ভাড়া দিয়ে ট্যাক্সিতে যেতে হচ্ছে তো কি করা যাবে?

খাতায় কলমে তো তিনি ঠিক। ওইটুকু হলেই কাজ চলে যাবে!

Choices can be on a personal level.

But when you are taking a decision on behalf of a larger group, or having an impact on the society at large; you must shed off all your biases. You must get rid of all the predujices, notions and preferential favours that were cultivated deep inside you. All those ideas that were nurtured within you from movies, from your surroundings and your imaginations. Unless that happens, you are not fit to serve any section of the society, neither humans nor any species.

The intolerance and biases of today's leaders are the biggest pandemics society is facing presently!

একটি হকার পেটের টানে রাস্তায় বসলে তার ওপর লাঠিচার্জ হয়, আর কাতারে কাতারে অন্ধ সমর্থক মহামারী আইন উপেক্ষা করে যে সামাজিক এবং স্বাস্থ্যের অবক্ষয় ডেকে আনে, তাকে কার্যত ছাড় দেওয়া হয়।
