कभी-कभी लगता है हमारे यहाँ ज़ेब्रा क्रॉसिंग पर ख़ुद ज़ेब्रा भी आकर खड़ा हो जाए तो गाड़ी वाले उसे उड़ा कर चल देंगे

achiving equilibrium happiness,
When I was crossing the road,
And rain was falling diagonally towards me.

While zebra crossing's made for pedestrians..
The cars crossover it leaving the people kicking their heals ,waiting for another set of cars who may again crossover !

मैं 4 राहो का समूह हूं
चारों दिशाओं का वजूद हूं ,
लोगों को एक दूसरे से जोड़ता हूं
हरी बत्ती देकर सब को छोड़ता हूं।
काली सफेद लाइन है मेरे पास,
जिस पर चलते हैं लोग सबसे खास।
कितनों ने मेरे नियम तोड़े हैं,
मौत ने भी उनसे हाथ जोड़े हैं।
मैंने भूख से बिलखते बच्चों को देखा है
उनके हातो में पैसे देते देखा है।

Sometimes i feel like zebra crossing.
Black and white life.
Present on every stage of life.
But no one is bothered about existence.

Saw;
a school boy waiting at a zebra crossing.

Remembered;
those mornings and evenings when the gate of the school across the road was decorated in white and navy blue.

Thought;
does that mean, things are getting back to normal?
