Sometimes you need to
Climb window sills
Carrying bunch of fresh tulips
To draw the beautiful souls
Afraid to even sneak a peek.

Your desires and emotions
in the mind and the heart
gliding through nerves or
the veins, I'm not certain of;

I just feel, you're the clouds
to my sky, or the dust to
the stars which I behold
in our moments of kissing.

Spider, By the Window Sill

Alone he was, Alone I am
I am tense and he was still
To me a vent, To him a home
The spider by the window sill

Those scrawny legs, that measured walk
Exciting an unknown thrill
What I must appear to him
A beast with desire to kill

His body a foreign painting
The spookiest shade of black
Blacker indeed my heart was
To land that final smack

Alone I am and will be,
The spider's body is still
Now only a vent, No more a home
To the spider by the window sill.

Overgrown moss over the neighbours wall,
Talks of rainy evenings and petrichor,
To touch of delicate twirling bougainvillea,
Till sky high desires of the window sill,
Met the cup of tea,
Conversations, pauses and ultimately silence.
The rains seem to have changed,
Something amiss or maybe just indifference,
Unsaid words, unwritten ones, it was never to end.
Lips speak of times when there were no boundaries,
Naive eyes seek, knowing of none,
Neither do hearts,
But somewhere gods made the difference.

The falling leaves drift
My window sill is piled
With red and gold
A remembrance of
The bright summer
You took away leaving
Only autumns to get me by

Eve's Thought - II

The eve is balmy, brute
Like her attitude astute;
She counts like a mathematician,
While I'd treasure such passion.

Her reign is like the fourth Reich,
How could I go on strike?
She sleeps by the window sill,
Where flowers grow - still.

Visits you like 29th February,
Her dates are long, scary.
