आसपास की
स्वस्थ कोशिकाओं को
परिवर्तित कर देती हैं
कैंसर कोशिकाओं में!
कैंसर का ध्येय है
पूरे शरीर में फैल जाना।

शहर भी
कैंसर की तरह है
जो बढ़ता हुआ
आसपास के हरे-भरे
गाँव-खलिहानों को
बना देता है शहर!
शहर का ध्येय है
पूरी पृथ्वी में फैल जाना।

ये शहर बड़ी रफ्तार से हर ओर हाशियों में उफ़न रहा है
पुरानी बस्ती से नए शहर तक अब एक चौड़ी सड़क बनेगी

बरसों से बाहें थामे उन पांच दरख़्तों की,
कल रात वो आख़िरी मुलाकात थी

Dependency
Camaraderie
Understanding
Trust
Empathy and
Maturity
Cannot be described by
Ink less permanent
These unsung unaccounted for
Visitors from rural civilization
Leave their mark on the
Urbanization of the
Society today.
