लौटा दो वो कागज़ की कश्ती,
बारिश में भीगते तन-मन लौटा दो,

लुका-छिपी, वो गलियों में शोर,
खेले जो खेल पचपन लौटा दो।

दफ़्तर की ओर दुखते हैं कदम चल-चल कर,
झूले झूलती तेज़ धड़कन लौटा दो,

आईने में हारा हुआ पाते हैं खुद को,
खिलखिलाता देखें खुद को वो दरपन लौटा दो।

कि अब थक गए हैं जी कर ये बेगैरत जवानी,
हो सके तो मुझे, मेरा बचपन लौटा दो।।

दोहराने जिन्दगी लगी है पुरानी बातें
पता नहीं कब आएगी सुकून भरी राते
आहट से डरने लगी हूं याद करके मुलाकाते
क्योंकि गुजरे सावन भी वापस लौट आते

छुपा कर सारे दर्द तोड़ दिए खुद से नाते
अब क्यों ना जिंदगी को हकीकत में बिताते
क्या करू लेकिन
आंख खुलने से लेकर आंख बंद होने तक
तेरे बारे में उलझे सवाल ख्यालों से नहीं जाते..!!

My mind is tired of trying to dominate my heart.
My words...are becoming bizarre.
My thoughts are blurry having done their parts throughout.
But the stupid Sleep is still not coming...forcing my eyes to remain ajar!

Will change their opinion on love.
If they are ignored and neglected!!
Even the strongest feelings will be expired if it takes long time in waiting!!!
