Time for Revelations- part 2
He was a nicely built boy even in grade 5, that's when he joined my school. I was a tall (taller than him then ), fair (than him then), and a beautiful (still the same) girl. Nothing more matters than this in the age when you are at a stage sandwiched between the young and old kids. When you don't know what's all this chemical locha going on in your body. When you are being scolded for not doing your homework and along with that you are in a constant pressure of being the coolest amongst your group.
Gosh what an age !!
If we try and control our feelings, we are termed as geeks; and if we let them flow, we are frisky. Anyway, that's about the age and all that hormonal locha in our bodies. But the thing is that I didn't even notice him until I got a Proposal, a friendship proposal though, but in class five !
Can you even imagine! We were just in class five. But what we also couldn't imagine was that this proposal was a turning point in our careers, our lives, and our futures. Together or Separate; you'll find soon.-

We were shy to make an eye contact with each other, forget about talking. We were both so nervous. We just had one thing to do. Get up in the middle of the class, ask permission to fill our water bottles, (since thirst could kill us at that very moment) said our teachers, to disturb the whole class; anyway, then go out and sneek into eachother's class to hint of coming out to give each other a closer look. This had become a ritual. Almost daily, anyone in the class whose water bottles were to be filled, we were happy to help. They would look at us as if obliging. But we hardly cared. We were just getting a chance to see eachother. Infact we were being helpful. How mean friends we had. But we would also keep waiting for our target bottle since the day used to start & not waste a moment to rush out, sneak peak into eachother's class and then wait at the water cooler.-

While I was juggling with my thoughts, I heard the assembly bell. We all lined up and went downstairs for an assembly. We had a very strict PT teacher. I wouldn't name any of them. Also he's related to my family, I would definitely not name him, but call him J Sir. So he was extremely strict about timings, discipline, separating girls and boys even if he found them in a casual talk or standing besides one another. Prayers got over, we were ready to go back to our classes, when I noticed S standing exactly in a position where he could see me clearly. He was punished for being late to school. And from those uneven formation of lines, I could see him too. But with a shy smile and red cheeks. My low hanging face lit up and I passed a smile to him. I was so relieved that he was standing at an angle where not just I was clearly visible to him also he was visible to me. This confirmed his feelings. Which meant I was not the only one waiting to talk to him. However, it took us another few days to say a Hello to each other.-

Next day, G came to me and hoping for a positive reply looked at me with a smile. On the other hand, I handed him the torn pieces of the note he got for me the other day. He was surprised to see that I tore it. I think he was also furious about his friend being rejected. But S being a typical Jaat, had developed all the qualities of a stubborn teenager by now. He was a mixture of Leo's egoistic, dominating personality topped with a Jaats power and arrogance.

Our gang of friends had also become handful by then. We knew who was in our team and who was here just for information. Once it so happened that we had an argument over was a new boy in our class who showed interest in me.

So we had started to talk a little in tution because same class groups would help each other in revision and taking tests. So that's how our discussion on different subjects started. Even Our First Touch. Until then I didn't know even notebooks had current. And obviously, we would come a little early to sit alone and pretend to Mrs B. that we were revising; but she didn't know we were just playing passing the notes in the notebooks. And lemme tell you, that was the only current we both liked. (It isn't goosebumps but current that raises the hair).
Until one evening...-

Day one just went by somehow. I came back home to do double work. School homework and homework from tution. So I was doubly occupied, and didn't have the time to think about S, to think about Us. Yes, we were a couple. A silent couple, who never spoke to eachother throughout the year. We just passed on the chits. And that's how I told S about this tution I was taking at Mrs.B. it was supposed to be confidential but I could tell him.

I was sure to see my name in the students being demoted since the Farewell thing happened. But Ss, I still hoped to clear. And after seeing his name I couldn't control myself and tears ran down my cheeks.

So this new boy A, had got some more trouble. S had got angry and threatened to beat him up if he was seen anywhere near me. And I picked up a fight with S to have behaved immature and not trust me. So I stopped talking to S and A both. No more love notes, no more dispersal time byes, missed calls were already banned, and there was no other function or competition that we could practice for band. So no more Us time anymore. Now S being S, loaded with typical Leo qualities, started to make me jealous by befriending my partner R. She was annoying as hell. Even if she knew about us, she became friends with S, My S !!
She was my partner in class and now friend of S and my enemy. I hated her now.
This went on for quite sometime, and S had found ways to annoy me even more. None of the class boys sat with me or talked to me unless required. I loved to draw and I had also found a way out to befriend my class boys by bribing them in helping to complete their drawing work. Smart Me! And this made S so jealous that it satisfied my ego as well. Now we were equal. But we were dying to sort out things and get back to normal. We couldn't.-

I had taken Dance as an extra curricular until grade 7, but S was a drummer in school band. School band got to attend a couple of events in inter school competitions and also on the National Celebration days. So all in all it was a good chance to spend sometime together. So I decided to change my hobby from Dance to Music, thus Band. But I had no clue about any instruments. This was very new for me. But since we had different tutions now, this was the only way to stay close; even if we were not talking. As the Schools Annual Day was near, we were called for practice one hour before the start of the school. There were around 25 students in School Band. But we didn't mind as long as we could be around eachother. We would wait for eachother in the ground without showing any excitement. Last thing we wanted was Sir J to find us talking to eachother. We somehow managed to pass this situation. But there was another problem that popped up; that new admission in last class. He had still not stopped trying his luck.-
