Day 5:
In the attempts of resurrecting my dead heart, my friends dragged me to the club. But everywhere I look, something reminds me of her.

I lit up a cigarette to calm down my heart and look around to locate my friends but my eyes couldn't move past the entrance.

Through the white smoke of my now dying stick, I saw her walking in... another's arms.
So, I sit by the bar chugging down her memories with whiskey and vodka until I can't feel myself anymore.

I jerk back in the reality,
with sweat dripping down my cold neck,
to find myself in the presence of,
the demons of my nightmare

they're burning a trail of madness on my mind,
I'm scared to even blink,
I feel my life hanging by the thread,
As lucifer makes his way to me.

I'm standing at our spot.
where you kissed me for the first time. Few tears roll down as I close my eyes and see you in front of me, trying to make a move; as if it was yesterday only that we sat on this bench amidst the dying laughter when you leaned in. Your hands were shaking and your heart was beating so loudly that I actually heard it when I leaned in too. And just as I felt your lips on mine... I knew... I'm in love.
Now, I open my eyes; wishing that you were here with me...
but you aren't.
so I'll close my eyes again and relive the memories that I have left with me before they fade out of existence.

Day 2
My dreams are no longer a safe haven for me, for they are haunted by the demons of our past. So, I lie awake in bed night after night now, wishing that this bone freezing cold could freeze my heart too.
