As I open my eyes, I see the sun smiling
In the open sky birds serenading
I behold the hills to see sun climbing high
spreading It's blaze so divine...

Showering yellowish and red glow to trees
rising sun cuddling me with love she devotes
cherishes the clouds with her pink glares
and sees her facsimile in crystal blue streams...

I look up at the indigo blues
I feel god reposed elysium in my eyes
this view is of that Olympian
giving a blessing to the temporal...

She gives me courage to conquer my day
unfetter my problems and take my sorrows away
she pacified my soul with kind relish
and injected me with mellowness...

Sweetheart you've putted me in a fairyland
my beautiful girl you've left me enthralled
all because you are my lovely sunrise
I'll love you till the sunset and till the sunrise...

वक़्त का तकाज़ा यूं ही इशारे करता रहा,

सुबह तो हर रोज़ हुई
पर सूरज हर पल ढलता रहा।
