I vividly remember how I was discriminated against as a boy. This prestigious school wouldn't grant me admittance simply because I was a guy!
It was an 'All girls convent.'

शैतान हो तुम, खुद को, इंसान ना समझना ।

पा न सकोगे कभी भी, हमारे हृदय की थाह तुम,

है हिम्मत अगर तो, स्त्री बनकर दिखलाओ,
स्त्री बनना पुरुष सा, आसान न समझना ।

Sexism in Science

If you hear Hershey & you could recall Chase then you might be familiar with the famous Hershey-Chase experiment which proved that DNA is the genetic material, not protein.

This scientific breakthrough earned Hershey a Nobel prize but not for Chase. Why?

It was Alfred Hershey & Martha Chase.

Just like how Watson, Crick & Wilkins recieved Nobel prizes but not Rosalind Franklin.

You call a weak man "a pussy".

But...

You don't call a strong woman "a dick"!

If you were to shut down a sexist family member whom you love immensely, how would you do it?

I find it extremely intriguing and disturbing that there are men who are raised to be so entitled that they actually believe that women only exist for their pleasure or carry their babies and more often than not, they aren't the same women.
