of her own,
On the shore.
unaware of the fact that
"time & tide waits for none"

I was busy making our Sandcastle by the sea-side..
Totally unaware of the hurricane

of serene sand,
meant to
drown in the love
of a wild wave.

The fragile sandcastle
our love is,
will it survive
the low tide of ennui?

When a person dissolves into sand,
Maybe he leaves a little life behind.

We create our
sand castles.

Vulnerable,
like a castle birthed
by coarse grains of sand,
at the mercy of unbiased,
relentless waves;
I wait, eager to be consumed
by the perpetual crest of your ardour.

Your waves
to my beach,
like the perfectly fitting
puzzle piece.

we build castles
not meant to wash,
for I'm too tired
of holding on
the left behind sand
between my toes.

February looks like a sandcastle. Temporary things are built, nurtured and tended, all it takes is a bucket of water for everything to vanish.
